Output increases with automated changeover of labels

A video from Multivac demonstrates the company’s automated switchover capability for pressure sensitive labels. This capability eliminates the downtime packagers experience when the line is stopped to change labels.

For one customer the “no-stop” capability increased output by 4,300 packages per shift and decreased direct labor by 6.5 hours per day. The video shows the application of pressure sensitive labels to the top, side, and/or bottom of the package for ultimate flexibility.
