Domino: CIJ printers eliminate routine servicing

Domino’s A-Series continuous inkjet printers use i-Tech intelligent Technology for monitoring and managing performance to significantly reduce overall use of fluids—up to 90% less system ink and 50% less ink solvent than its predecessors.

To eliminate routine service, the company has replaced the typical annual engineer service with a process that involves the exchange of just one component and which can be completed by any operator in under ten minutes.   Key to this development is the new Qube, which enables users to dispose of exhausted ink and filters without wasting serviceable electro mechanical components. The plug and play process also applies to routine consumables replenishment, which relies on colour coded CleanFill consumables for easy identification. All printers feature self-sealing valves for a safe and clean working environment.
