The on-demand On-Line Series automatic print-and-apply labeling system from Meto (Morris Plains, NJ) incorporates a thermal printer with tamp-on, blow-on or roll-on application methods.

The 203-dpi printer runs at speeds from 2" to 10"/sec, and the 300-dpi printer operates at up to 8"/sec. Label materials can be up to 5" W and between 2.5 mil and 10 mil in thickness. The machine accommodates a 16" label roll to reduce the frequency of roll changes.
