Carleton Helical Technologies (New Britain, PA) has introduced a new system for the rapid replacement and positioning of feedscrews. The system, which features digital horizontal adjustment and indexable height adjustment, allows feedscrews to be replaced and positioned in minutes with no tools and by an operator rather than a line mechanic.
Suitable for inspecting, filling and labeling lines of bottles, cans and vials. Units are available in anodized aluminum and stainless steel and can be integrated into existing equipment. A variety of mounting styles are available, as well as stand-alone drives.
