SATO, a leading global provider of Auto-ID solutions that empower workforces and streamline operations, today announced the appointment of Michael Beedles as Head of North America for the SATO Group. In this new role, Beedles will be responsible for growing SATO’s presence in the region and implementing a go-to market strategy that focuses on total solutions.

In addition to overseeing the North American market, Beedles also serves as the President of SATO Global Solutions (SGS), a group company specializing in software development and solution integration. He will drive business in North America in collaboration with SGS, expanding on SATO’s data collection systems and labeling offerings, and leveraging the company’s new printer platform, the NX Series, which will utilize IoT technology to provide 24x7 connectivity and worldwide customer support via SATO Online Services, a new service scheduled to launch later in 2015.

“Mike has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities, an entrepreneurial spirit and deep knowledge of our customers’ needs,” says Kaz Matsuyama, President and CEO of SATO Holdings. “He understands the importance of technology in creating value for customers, and has the motivation and the know-how to execute our strategies and drive innovation.”

“With its manufacturing, software development, integration and technical engineering capabilities, SATO is well positioned to offer one-stop solutions for customers seeking to utilize Auto-ID technology to streamline their operations,” says Mike Beedles. “I am honored to take on this new and expanding role, and I look forward to working closely with our customers, partners and SATO teams across the region and globally.”
