Wal-Mart VP to address RFIDfresh seminar

Michigan State University will present “RFIDfresh, Meeting Retailer Requirements and Challenges in the Perishables Packaging Supply Chain,” Sept. 21-22 at the Monterey, CA, Marriott Hotel.

The two-day seminar will include exhibits, as well as a tour of a fresh produce RFID test facility created to address Wal-Mart and Albertsons requirements. Bruce Peterson, senior vp and GMM, Perishables, Wal-Mart Stores Inc., will deliver the keynote presentation, “Meeting the Wal-Mart Mandate and RFID Compliance.” Registration fees are $975 for an individual; $2ꯠ for an exhibitor.
