CSP’s trademarked polyethylene product, StaCon, offers an ideal and durable printing surface for packaging designers. A semi-rigid polyolefin, StaCon’s qualities provide a stand-out final product after printing. Completely customizable, StaCon is available in a range of gauge and finish options and can be color matched with any Pantone color.

The material is produced so that it can be printed on both sides by screen process, conventional or UV offset, or by flexo-press. The material can also be readily processed on any conventional paper converting equipment.

“We’re seeing more demand for StaCon in the packaging business than we ever have before,” says Steve Fleming, Vice President of CSP. “Other than the noticeable durability and texture, the reason StaCon is such a popular material with packaging designers—in addition to its durability—is how well it can be printed upon. That is the real challenge when printing on plastic. With this material, you can really see the difference.”
