Slautterback Corp.: Hot melt gluing system

The JR-1(TM) Hotmelt System from Slautterback (Monterey, CA) is designed for light-duty, hot melt adhesive packaging applications. The system's lightweight hose and its integrated "cool-touch" L6 Handgun design assist operators in gaining access to confined work areas where hot melt material can be dispensed at a variety of angles.

An operator connects the melt unit to an electrical power source, loads the tank with bulk adhesive and begins the application process after the molten adhesive reaches operating temperature. A single knob sets the temperature of the tank, hose and handgun.
