Aptar Beauty, a distributor in dispensing systems, introduces a new generation of all-plastic pumps designed for sustainability. The Advance Collection consists of full polyolefin pumps to maximize recyclability, starting with two personal care dispensing solutions: the GSA Advanced dispensing pumps and the PZ Advanced spray pumps. Both products are made of Polypropylene (PP) and Polyethylene (PE), from polyolefin family, making them suitable with the main plastic recycling streams, while keeping the same performance design.

The Advance Collection's omnichannel pumps are e-commerce capable and offer an array of decoration and design options, ranging from premium to lifestyle, to help reinforce brand equity. By focusing on consumer-favorite packaging preferences based on reliable technologies, Aptar Beauty helps customers facilitate a sustainable transition.

With a full-plastic cartridge combining PP and PE, and a smooth actuation force, GSA Advance is a dispensing pump designed for personal care products. The plastic spring outside of the dosage chamber delivers a 2 cc dose and ensures compatibility across a variety of formulas, including water-based and high-viscosity.

It is rated ‘Highly recyclable’ (when paired with a HDPE, PP or PET bottle) by independent certification agency Institute CYCLOS-HTP. It is also PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled Resin) capable. A twist-to-lock system allows it to be sealed in the open and closed positions, making it suited for on-the-go use. GSA Advance is e-commerce capable, POM-free and features an optional e-clip (in PP, also available in up to 100% PCR) providing an extra layer of protection while in transit.

Fully interchangeable with the existing, GSA dispensing pump, GSA Advance operates on the same finishing lines and is compatible with the same aesthetic components and actuators, starting with two standard actuator designs available. The modular pump architecture gives options to customize the look and feel to support brand differentiation.

“Full plastic, recyclable packaging is the next step in the product sustainability journey," Luigi Garofalo, Global Category Director, Personal Care & Home Care, Aptar Beauty said. "The Advance Collection represents a new dawn in packaging dispensing solutions. We want to disrupt the market with this innovative range of high-performing, all-plastic pumps, which are all based on consumer-proven products and feature an iconic design, to complement our offer of mono-material solutions such as the Future dispensing pump.”

PZ Advance is a spray pump with a high-quality spray pattern delivering a 190 mcl dose. This polyolefin solution comes with a full-plastic cartridge. POM-free and PCR-capable, PZ Advance is rated ‘Highly Recyclable’ (when paired with a HDPE, PP or PET bottle) by independent certification agency Institute CYCLOS-HTP.

PZ Advance is designed for compatibility with a range of viscosities, including demanding formulas, and is especially suited to suncare and on-the-go usage. The twist-to-lock (90°) PZ Twist spray pump maximizes convenience and eliminates the need for a cap. Its design is optimized for omnichannel needs.
