With a standard tube closure, water tends to enter the closure and gather in between the tube neck and closure and in the lid of the closure itself, which leads to mold growth. To combat this, Zeller enhanced skirt seal to create a seal with the shoulder of the tube, preventing water from entering at the tube neck. A thumb tab has been extended at the thumb recess to prevent water entering the lid and deck area. In the hinge area, the deck of the closure has been extended to fit flush against the hinge to prevent water entrance at the hinge.
