A “fan favorite”—the Hall of Packaging Excellence—will return once again at the 2007 edition of Packaging Summit. This year’s Hall of Packaging Excellence will showcase the winners of the Institute of Packaging Professionals’ 2006 AmeriStar awards competition as well as the winners of the World Packaging Organisation’s WorldStar 2006 competition. The AmeriStar winning packages will be on display. Attendees can view a video presentation of the WorldStar award winners, which will be played continuously throughout the show.
These displays will be situated to welcome visitors to the Packaging Summit Expo and Conference May 15-17, 2007, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. Designed to serve as an innovations hub that showcases the latest in package design, the Hall of Packaging Excellence will be set up near the entrance to the expo floor.
Besides spotlighting innovation, the Hall of Packaging Excellence serves two additional purposes. First, it provides inspiration for leading-edge package design. Second, it shows how flexible, rigid, paperboard, glass, closures, labels, and other packaging components deliver what the marketplace needs.
Following are just some of the award-winning packages that will be on display in the Hall of Packaging Excellence. For more information, visit www.pkgsummit.com.
