Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland recently launched its newest exhibit, TapeScape: International Tape Station. Back by popular demand, the exhibit isn’t just a playground; it’s a cosmic adventure for all ages, inspired by the iconic International Space Station.

Imaginative artist Eric Lennartson designed the exhibit entirely out of packing tape wrapped around a metal frame. It’s seven times larger than a similar one that was built in 2018 and robust enough for both kids and adults to climb and explore through Sept. 2.

Who better to help create an ‘International Tape Station’ than the leading manufacturer and marketer of adhesive tapes and consumer home and office products?  Shurtape Technologies provided over 3,200 rolls of industrial packing tape and nearly 100 rolls of stretch wrap, ensuring the exhibit’s durability and safety. Essential materials to complete the exhibit included HP 500 Heavy Duty Packing TapeHP 260 Packing Tape and HP 560 Packing Tape.

In addition to specialty adhesive solutions, Shurtape offers products under recognizable brand names such as Duck®, FrogTape®, Shurtape®, T-Rex® and Pro Tapes®.
