In West Hall, Booth 18025 at PACK EXPO International, Stäubli Robotics will demonstrate how its TX2-60 Stericlean robot precisely picks and places medical device components with the help of an Asyril flexible feeding platform. The Asyril uses AI-based vision to locate acceptable parts and transmit their pick coordinates to the robot. Production is tracked by means of a monitor, allowing for traceability and process improvement.
Stäubli’s Stericlean robots are designed for life science applications, and operate safely within Grade A, B, and C environments. Their fully enclosed structure with special seals minimizes airborne particles. A smooth surface protected by a high-resistance coating eliminates retention areas. The robots are also highly flexible, adapting readily to different drug delivery formats, such as vials, IV bags, syringes, cartridges, and transdermal devices, as well as digitally connected wearables.
Stäubli will also exhibit its fast, compact TS2-100 SCARA robot, from the 2021 Red Dot Award-winning TS2 series. Ideally suited for high-speed flex feeding applications, TS2 SCARA robots are also used in downstream production processes, including primary and secondary packaging. The robot’s proprietary JCS drive technology facilitates ultra-short cycle times and high repeatability.
