Rotary filling systems manufacturer Fogg Filler's new spindle assemblies are smaller and lighter weight, making them easier to handle and replace. These new spindles feature a new design and bearings. This new assembly features a one-piece cam follower to replace the old three-piece cam follower. This piece is easily removeable and replaceable. In the past, a replacement would mean purchasing a new shaft, spacer, and cam follower, and now there is just one simple piece reducing effort and cost of replacement. These smaller, more compact assemblies allow for 2 additional spindles on a capper, increasing efficiencies. A new capper can be purchased, with all new spindles, or the new spindles can replace old spindles on a current 700 series capper. (A new 3610 can be upgraded to a 3612 to gain greater speeds.)
