Nercon Engineering & Mfg. Inc: Singulator system

Nercon’s high-throughput ARB Singulator system with Intralox ARB technology is designed to handle random flow and multiple-sized products from five infeed lanes at 300 ppm (pieces per minute.)

Pw 42165 Arb Singulator

Rollers integrated into the Intralox belting (ARB) are configured at 0, 30, 45 and 60 degrees in a series of four sections that provide high-speed, highly-accurate alignment.  The first ARB section provides a centering merge, followed by two additional centering sections with speed changes that create gaps to handle the high-volume product flow. And the last section provides the rail alignment as products exit the system.

The system provides almost 99% accuracy, according to the company. No changeovers are required between product sizes, and several product types and sizes can be combined.  Minimal controls are required.  The system is adaptable to future product additions or product recipe changes.

The open-architecture design and absence of guide rails and gating reduces breakdowns and jams.  Fewer components require less maintenance and provide easy replacment of chain sections in the modular chain (ARB) concept.

Common applications include spiral out-feed locations, accumulation discharge areas, merges, receiving and descrambling processes.
