Video: Fast-growing Killer Brownie on the Hunt for Conveyors, Accumulation

At the inaugural PACK EXPO Southeast, we heard from Dayton, Ohio-based Matt Tye, post production manager of Killer Brownie on why he made the trip and what packaging equipment he's looking as his company prepares to expand into a new facility.

Transcript

Matt Tye: Hi, my name is Matt. I'm the director of manufacturing at the Killer Brownie Company. We are a family-owned company that started in Dayton, Ohio, in 1988. We package gourmet brownies that are up to five layers thick in wholesale slab, retail clamshell, and horizontal film.

Today, we're at PACK EXPO. We are actually looking for different conveyors to help convey our retail product and accumulation tables to help accumulate products so we can pick and pack, and to box to sell it to our customers across the country.

And we are growing; right now, we are currently sold in the United States and Canada, and we are picking up some new retail partners. Coming later this summer, we'll be in Target across the U.S. We are going to be in Walmart with a couple LTOs, and then we're going to be in 7-Eleven starting early fall with RIW. So, really excited about these new opportunities that are coming our way.
