System uses a 2-ton chain hoist with VFD to lift bulk bag into carbon steel discharge hopper where a stainless steel static bag piercing knife assembly completely empties bulk bags quickly and easily. Hopper features a full perimeter dust plenum with dust take off stub for product dust control. Hopper includes a pneumatic vibrator system to assist with product flow, and an air actuated gate valve mounted at the bottom of hopper for product flow control. Removable side panels and a custom knife guard enhance operator access and safety during maintenance.
