Polypack Inc: 'All-in-one' robotic bundling system

Polypack’s ROKH robotic arm picks up products from an infeed conveyor at any angle, placing them onto shrink film. Products may be split, stacked, rotated, and collated into virtually any configuration.

Interchangeable grippers pick up products of various sizes and shapes. An intermittent- or continuous-motion bundler, operating at speeds to 120 bundles/min, uses a conveyor to transport product through sealing and shrinking steps. A case packer stages cases under pneumatically controlled flippers that hold the flaps open and guide shrink-wrapped product into the cases.
