ID Technology: Clamshell labeler

Label clamshell packages off-line, on-line or semi-automatically with systems from ID Technology (Fort Worth, TX). Systems use an infeed hopper to hold and dispense empty clamshells onto a conveyor for label application.

An up-stacker can be used to collect the product after labeling. On-line systems can label empty or filled and sealed clamshells. Multiple labeler heads permit prime decoration labeling, spot labeling, bar-code labeling or other uses. One system closes the clamshell and applies a tamper-evident label.
