At PPM Technologies’ booth, the company exhbited its Modular SD conveyor, which it recommends for processors of fragile or seasoned products. Said PPM, the gentle horizontal motion of the conveyor provides a smooth, consistant flow that protects product integrity as well as reduces unwanted buildup on the conveyor pan.
The patented balanced drive allows the conveyor to be hung from the ceiling or mounted directly to the floor or mezzanine floor without fear of transmitting vibration, and the compact design allows for quick and easy installation. No-pinch slide gates provide safe distribution of product plus simple removal and sanitation. Other gate designs are available depending on the types of products being conveyed.
