The OPAX-1000™ from EMX Industries Inc. verifies the opacity of containers, blown film, bottles, all blow molded or injection molded parts, and may also be used to check turbidity ranges in liquids.

OPAX can be used for plastic, paper, liquids, glass and fabric materials. Establishing pass/fail criteria for minimum opacity of containers and providing on-line measurement eliminates defects and allows real-time quality control. Features: high-resolution analog output; high detection speed with 100 microsecond discrete output response; calibration feature allows manual user sensitivity adjustment; adjustable brackets; numerical display that indicates measured levels; laser-mark position sensor.
