The AccuVision camera in the system reads and decodes both linear bar codes and 2-D symbols. The VisionKey augments the decoded information with human-readable data from address labels or packing slips.
Displayed on a PC screen, the images can be rotated, enhanced or enlarged. Label information from non-bar-coded parcels can be linked to a unique tracking number or be used to generate a machine-readable label for further automatic sorting.
