The IWK TFS 10 tube filler forms a link to a minicompact vertical cartoning machine via an integral automated transfer system from R.A. Jones (Cincinnati, OH). Tubes containing 3 to 250g exit the filler onto a conveyor and drop into an open carton. The bottom is then closed and finished with a tuck, glue, or 5-panel carton seal. Both machines provide quick changeovers, virtually without tools.
