Winpak: Pouch machine

Winpak’s Model W-18 pouch machine fills hot, cold, thick, and free-flowing liquids in precise volumes at speeds of 1500 pouches/min. 24 hours/day.

Also know as the “Workhorse,” the Model W-18 features: a precision servo drive system; an “Atmospheric Control” option that provides a reliable hot-fill solution and also gas injection in headspace for modified atmosphere packaging (MAP); film web width of up to 20-in. (508mm); particulates up to ½-in. (12mm); and product tank , valve, and piping options available.

Other features include: change parts available to convert to a 3-sided seal (“stick pack”); user-friendly packaging features and options such as notches, perforations, pouring spouts, etc.; an idle mode that allows the machine to be stopped and started with no loss in product or packaging materials; and powered knife height adjustment.

Options include: front and back registration systems; edge control systems; splice detector; specialized low-viscosity fillers; coding; and  packaging flow control gate.
