A new 16-oz special round bottle in ultra-clear PET is available from Novapak for packaging personal care, household, automotive, and industrial products. The bottle has a 28-410 neck finish, measures 6.978 in. H and 2.75 in. dia, and has a 3.710-in.-H recess for adhesive labeling. Injection/stretch blow-molded from a 36.5-g universal preform in a 2-stage process that is said to increase blow rations, PET molecule orientation, and strength near the center of the blown container.
