The machine is driven by 14 independent servo motors that are set to operate intermittently to match the infeed system.
“We achieve higher productivity with 20-percent increased output and 50-percent reduction in packing labor costs,” says John Cardwell, operations director for Ferndown, Dorset, England-based Keith Spicer. “Integrating infeed collation inside the cartoning machine also saves valuable floor space.
