Graphite Metallizing Graphalloy Grade GM 669P bearings comply with the provisions of Article 3 of Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004. Through testing, the material was confirmed to meet the Council of Europe’s guidance on metals and alloys used in food contact materials.

The Graphalloy bearings withstand washdown and caustic environments, operate dry or submerged, and handle extremely low and high temperatures (-240°C to 535°C). Typical applications include ovens, flash freeze conveyors, produce conveyors, roasters, fryers, and dryers.

The Graphalloy bearings are self-lubricating and do not require re-greasing, eliminating the maintenance of bearings in tough-to-reach locations, as well as oil and grease contamination. Graphalloy material is available in pillow block assemblies, flange block assemblies, and plain bearings. Housings are available in cast iron and stainless steel.

FDA-acceptable grades of Graphalloy are available for food contact equipment. There also is a WRAS-approved Graphalloy grade.
