Volkmann Weighing And Dosing System

This content was written and submitted by the supplier. It has only been modified to comply with this publication’s space and style.

Utilizing a three-step weighing process, Volkmann weighing and dosing systems offer loss-in-weight within +/-1% or better at the conveyor feed point and gain-in-weight at the vacuum receiver prior to discharge into the process. A controlled-release, dosing weight discharge uses a floor scale or similar device. The on-site, controlled batch weighing and dosing systems are suitable for processes such as feeding a mixer with solids according to a specified recipe, the initial weighing of delivered raw material, and unloading smaller batches from big bags. They come in one-, three- and four-load cell configurations.
