Matrox Imaging: Industrial imaging computer for machine vision inspection

See it at PACK EXPO, Booth #7705! Designed to provide single- and dual-camera machine vision inspection on the factory floor, Matrox Imaging’s lower-cost, entry-level Matrox 4Sight GPm industrial imaging computer is based on an Intel Celeron J1900 processor and features a fanless design that reduces maintenance costs and downtime.

The system is equipped with three Gigabit Ethernet ports and a SuperSpeed USB port for connecting to the full range of available GigE Vision and USB3 Vision cameras. Two of the Gigabit Ethernet ports support Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) to streamline cabling.

The new Matrox 4Sight GPm model is available bundled with Matrox Design Assistant 4 (DA 4) vision software, a hardware-independent integrated development environment (IDE) that allows system integrators, machine builders, and line integrators to quickly and easily create an application flowchart and HMI without the need for conventional programming. Alternatively, applications can be created using standard Microsoft development tools and Matrox Imaging Library (MIL), a comprehensive collection of tools for developing machine vision and medical imaging applications. MIL features programming functions for image capture, processing, analysis, annotation, display, and archiving.

Matrox 4Sight GPm development units are available pre-loaded with Microsoft Windows Embedded Standard 7 and either the full Matrox Design Assistant 4 environment or just the MIL 10 run-time environment.
