The ci580 features the most commonly needed functions and capabilities,
and prints 1 or 2 lines of print at high speeds. Text, bar codes and
graphics are possible. A selection of MEK, Acetone or Ethanol inks are available for immediate
dry times. True WYSIWYG message editing with drag and drop field based
structure provide convenient and versatile message formatting. The
ci580 system features the proprietary SmartFlush printhead maintenance
operation. Makeup solvent is used to clean the printhead, nozzle and
gutter at startup and shutdown providing consistent, reliable daily
startup. The system is housed in an IP55 (NEMA 4) enclosure for
operation in extreme wet or dry applications.
