Dennis Love, Printpack, retires

Printpack’s Chairman of the Board, Dennis Love, will retire. James Love, III was elected to take his place.

After Printpack’s regular quarterly board meeting on Nov. 14, the company announced that Dennis Love will retire as chairman of the board, effective December 31, 2016. James Love, III was elected to fill this position, in addition to his role as President and CEO.

“It has been a wonderful experience to serve as chairman and CEO of our family business for the better part of 30 years, and I am grateful to our directors and shareholders for this opportunity,” Dennis says. “Printpack is in a great position today, and I know our future is in good hands with the leadership transition to Jimmy and his team. I am looking forward to this new phase of my life, as well as to my continued involvement as a shareholder and Board member.”

James added: “I appreciate the support of our board and my family shareholders as we finalize this important leadership transition. We have built a great team on whom I totally rely to continue growing and strengthening Printpack, and I thank them all for their support of and commitment to our family business. I speak for myself as well as all our family members in saying how much we appreciate Dennis’ long time, successful leadership of our family business, maintaining Printpack as a respected and recognized leader in our industry and positioning us for continued growth and success. Dennis has been a great mentor to me, and I am personally grateful for his support of my leadership as we make this transition, as well as for his allowing me over the last twenty years to have increasing responsibility for significant parts of our business under his leadership and guidance. I look forward to his continued advice and counsel as we move forward and continue our success.”
