Mettler-Toledo Hi-Speed, a provider of checkweighing product inspection equipment for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries, hired Markus Haid as the new strategic accounts manager for pharmaceutical products. In this new position, Haid will be responsible for driving growth in sales of Hi-Speed products and services to the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
Markus comes to Hi-Speed with more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently as managing rirector of Uhlmann Packaging Systems. He held various sales and customer service positions in his years with the company. Uhlmann supplies complete packaging lines to the pharmaceutical industry, including its own brand of cartoners, blister machines, and case packers.
Haid is a graduate of Handwerkskammer Reutlingen in Germany.
