Klöckner Pentaplast wins ninth Sindusfarma Quality Award

Brazil’s Sindusfarm Quality Awards go to the “preferred” packaging solutions providers for the year.

Klöckner Pentaplast has once again earned the Sindusfarma Quality Award for preferred/best blister packaging solution provider. This marks the ninth time the Brazil-based team has been presented with this award.

Presented since 1997, the Sindusfarma Quality Awards are the Brazilian pharmaceutical industry’s highest honors. The Sindusfarma industrial association’s members represent 85% of the Brazilian pharmaceuticals market. The awards are presented to suppliers of packaging materials, raw materials, machines and equipment, appliances and instruments, and also to service providers.

The ceremony was attended by approximately 1,500 people in São Paulo, Brazil. Area officials and industry leaders attended this prestigious event, held in advance of the annual FCE Pharma trade show, where Klöckner Pentaplast hosted meetings with dozens of customers and prospects throughout a four-day exhibition.

“We are extremely honored to once again earn this recognition,” states Kleber Silva, Managing Director, Klöckner Pentaplast do Brasil Ltda. “We expect that our continuing investment in this region, including the recently announced slitting line in our Cotia plant, will strengthen our position as the preferred pharmaceutical film supplier.”
