Performance Packaging hires new sales & marketing veep

Blair M. Vance chosen for accomplishments in consumer goods and packaging, including aseptic and shelf-stable food packaging.

Performance Packaging of Nevada, a leading North American supplier of flexible packaging solutions and more — including contract packaging services — named Blair M. Vance vice president of sales and marketing.
 
Rob Reinders, president of Performance Packaging, noted Vance’s accomplishments, “especially within aseptic and shelf-stable food packaging," and "his years of experience in consumer product goods and brand development" in helping the comapny continue its leadership as a packaging supplier.
 
Vance's experience includes positions with Cheer Pack North America, Bosch Pouch Systems LLC, Tetra Pak International and Coca-Cola Enterprises. His background includes operational and executive level experience for both domestic and international markets across retail and foodservice channels-to-market, primarily within the food and beverage industries. He has also been actively involved with the creation and execution of successful new product and packaging developments and innovation programs across varied disciplines: consumer, market, brand positioning and competitive markets. Also emong his accomplishments, he has been awarded a U.S. patent for a dispensing sleeve that supports a food service pump.
 
At, 47, Vance holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the business school of Mount Allison University in New Brunswick, Canada, and is currently pursuing an MBA in international business from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
