Mettler-Toledo Safeline hires Harry Seibert Head of Sales

Metal detection and x-ray inspection equipment manufacturer Mettler-Toledo Safeline has an-nounced that Harry D. Seibert is joining the company as Head of Sales for the United States.

A seasoned sales executive with a diverse background of industrial business-to-business experience, Seibert comes to Mettler-Toledo Safeline from Polypore International, Inc. where he held the position of Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development for the Dar-amic lead-acid separator business.

Prior to joining Polypore, Seibert progressed through a number of sales, marketing and man-agement positions at Avery Dennison, a global leader in labeling and packaging materials and solutions, and with Michelman, Inc., a global de-veloper of water-based coatings for the paper and packaging industry and surface modifiers, additives and polymers for numerous industries.

Viggo Nielsen, General Manager of Mettler To-ledo Safeline made the announcement saying: "We are pleased to have Harry join and head up our already very experienced and strong sales team. This is not signaling a change of direction – this is about reinforcing our market presence and support to our key customers"

Adds Seibert: “I’m thrilled to join the Mettler-Toledo Safeline organization and look forward to building on their strong track record of success. Every day millions of people around the world count on a safe and reliable food supply, and I’m excited about the opportunity to help our cus-tomers meet these needs with industry-leading product inspection equipment and services.”
