American Packaging Corporation awarded ISO 14001:2004 Registration

American Packaging Corporation Extrusion Laminating & Coating facility located in Rochester, NY today has announced that it has received ISO 14001:2004 registration for its Environmental Management Systems

The scope of the registration confirms its environmental system provides the means of planning, measuring, and improving “Environmental” performance throughout the entire facility.  The environmental system applies to all activities, flexible packaging products and services provided by American Packaging Corporation, 777 Driving Park Avenue, Rochester, NY 14613.

“This validates our commitment to protecting the environment and demonstrates proper utilization of resources to our customers and to the community” said Dave Geier, Operations Manager for the facility.

American Packaging Corporation’s other facilities have begun the process to achieve environmental registration. “American Packaging will continue to succeed in our sustainability efforts because we have made it part of our core values; it has become an integral part of who we are and how we choose to conduct business” said Peter Schottland, American Packaging Corporation CEO and President.
