MG America named exclusive distributor for Promatic and Macofar lines of Romaco machinery

MG America, the U.S. subsidiary of MG2 of Bologna, Italy, has been named the exclusive distributor for Promatic and Macofar lines of Romaco machinery sold into the US and Puerto Rico markets.

These Romaco equipment types include Promatic Cartoners and Macofar Washers, Sterilizers, Cappers, Liquid Fillers and Vial Powder Fillers.  All other Romaco brands and types are not affected by this partnership.

“The new partnership is a reflection of the natural synergy between our two companies,” said Fabio Trippodo, President of MG America.  “In addition to both companies having facilities in Bologna, Italy, Romaco’s line of high-quality equipment perfectly complements our existing equipment offerings and enables our team to provide customers with even higher levels of fully-integrated machinery solutions.”

A Romaco Promatic machine will be among those showcased by MG America at the upcoming Interphex event, May 1-3 at New York City’s Jacob Javits Center.  At the show, MG America will display the Romaco Promatic P 91 Intermittent Motion Cartoner, which features patented carton pick-up and positive opening systems.  The fully GMP compliant, balcony-designed
P 91 affords high accessibility, easy cleaning and reduced risk of contamination.
