Multisorb Technologies appoints Ilia Jimenez to Healthcare Packaging Group

As part of Multisorb Technologies’ ongoing commitment to provide solutions-based active packaging technology to the global healthcare market, the company announced today the appointment of Ilia Jimenez to the position of Business Development Leader, Healthcare Packaging.

“Ilia’s appointment is part of our continuing drive to provide leadership in the healthcare packaging market,” says Adrian Possumato, Global Director of Healthcare Packaging at Multisorb. “Joining a business development team of chemists, biochemists, chemical engineers, and material scientists, Ilia’s appointment reflects our dedication to offer the technical, quality, regulatory and service support that customers have come to expect from Multisorb.”

Based in the San Francisco Bay area, Jimenez will oversee the development of the healthcare market in the western United States, Puerto Rico, and Mexico via the communication of Multisorb’s Calculations through Operations™ value proposition to healthcare product manufacturers and packagers.  With over seven years of technical sales and business development experience in the healthcare industries, Jimenez joins an established global team of business development leaders.

The addition of Ilia to Multisorb’s leadership team supports the company’s continued worldwide growth in operations to offer stability solutions to the pharmaceutical and medical device markets. Ilia’s strong industry background and technical experience will further enable Multisorb to implement its value-added, consultative approach.

Jimenez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Microbiology from the University of Puerto Rico (Mayaguez) and a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Rutgers University.
