Engage Technologies acquires Eastey Enterprises

Engage Technologies Corporation, the parent company of Squid Ink Manufacturing, EZ-Tek Industries, and Cogent Technologies, has announced the acquisition of Eastey Enterprises, Inc., a leading manufacturer of shrink packaging and heat sealing equipment.

Eastey Enterprises, headquartered in Rogers, MN, manufacturers a complete line of L-sealers, sleeve wrappers, shrink tunnels and bundling equipment, and has been in business for over 25 years.  The company will continue to operate out of Rogers, MN as a wholly owned subsidiary of Engage Technologies Corporation.

William T. Hoagland, President and Chief Executive Officer of Engage Technologies commented: “We are excited to add Eastey to the Engage team, which expands our strategically important packaging equipment platform. Eastey brings a strong brand, excellent complementary products, and a history of providing quality products to the industry. They are a clear leader in the shrink packaging arena offering us significant opportunities for further growth, and we look forward to merging our two product lines and sales channels.”

“This is a win-win for our customers,” said Eastey President Jeff Eastey. “As part of Engage Technologies, we have the financial and organizational backing to expand our capabilities, increase the promotion of the Eastey brand, and build on our tradition of providing quality packaging solutions to our customers.”
