Temperature-controlled shipper

Entropy Solutions’ GREENBOX Thermal Management System is a temperature-controlled shipper capable of keeping contents at a consistent temperature for more than five days.

Designed for the pharmaceutical, biologics and blood industries, the reusable, recyclable shipper prevents product spoilage, and saves companies up to 65 percent on shipping and distribution costs. The GREENBOX system is constructed of Thermal-Lok insulation panels and E-Packs phase change materials. Thermal-Lok insulation panels provide a durable plastic outer shell, which protects temperature-sensitive goods from external weather conditions. E-Packs contain a combination of patented phase change materials. In a typical GREENBOX, two sets of two different phase change materials simultaneously absorb and release heat – while one E-Pack liquefies, the other solidifies providing a "“thermostat effect."” This happens continuously until the package reaches its destination. Because GREENBOX maintains temperature for more than five days, customers can ship via ground versus overnight express. Also, GREENBOX is the first reusable thermal shipping system. Customers experience more than 50 uses per system. And GREENBOX is 100 percent recyclable and biodegradable.
