Nutec has introduced the APS thermal ink-jet printer, which can print on plastic, foil, nonporous surfaces, tablets, and capsules.

With specialty inks developed for the APS, it is the only HP-based printer that can print on nonporous surfaces without the need for dryer assistance. Nutec also offers a new HP ink that will print on tablets and capsules. The ink-jet print cartridges contain ingredients on the FDA GRAS list.
