BellatRx introduces the CPC Capper to meet the needs of the cosmetic and personal care markets. CPC Capper is an automatic, inline chuck cap applicator that consistently applies and torques closures onto containers at speeds up to 60 cpm. The chuck design delivers reject rates of 0.5% or less.

With a versatile design, the CPC capper has the flexibility to handle a wide range of closures including pump, spray, press-on, fragile, mushroom-shaped, CRC, and conventional caps on containers with diverse shapes and sizes.

The CPC capper offers simple change parts for easy changeover and storage. It can use a vibratory bowl, elevator, turntable, or gravity track to unscramble, sort, and feed closures to the cap application station. A pneumatic container gating assembly is used to feed and

securely clamp containers in place. Closures are applied squarely to the container in the cap application station and then released and fed to the cap torquing station where the

containers are clamped and the closure is torqued consistently to a set torque.

Features of the CPC capper include the following:

• Container indexing and clamping system easily adjusts from one container size to the next

• Extended stroke design for pump caps with long stems

• Jaw system designed for mushroom-style caps

• Centering device for caps with stems

• Servo-driven grip chuck for specialty caps
