Colgate's Morristown, TN, plant is reported to have ordered the Q-Test automated tube-testing system for laminate and plastic tubes. Q-Test 1 measures leak, burst, and torque parameters of both plastic and laminate tubes, while Q-Test 2 measures length, diameter, ovality, and side-seam parameters. Allows tube makers in medical, personal care, and consumer food product industries to automate a manually intensive process with accuracy and reduced time to delivery.
