At PACK EXPO Las Vegas, Bradman Lake will showcase its latest packaging equipment:
The SL903 high-speed end load cartoner features a low-height carton hopper. It is made of durable stainless steel and can erect, load, and close cartons within one frame. The machine has a wide range of optional features that enable it to be customized to meet specific needs.
The Bradman Lake servo-driven HSS double-head carton and tray former simultaneously erects cartons using both hot melt glue and four corner locks, showcasing its versatility for various packaging needs.
The IL120 carton closer utilizes Bradman Lake’s “Flexible Carton Control” technology that allows cartons containing products of inconsistent size to be closed without jamming. The machine also features quick, easy tool-less size changeovers, reducing downtime and increasing productivity when running several different carton sizes.
The HS Mini carton and tray former is designed for small to medium-sized businesses that require a high-quality carton former in a small footprint. Although compact, the HS Mini retains the same advanced features found in the standard size former.
At the PPMA Show, Stand B70 Hall 5, Bradman Lake will display its latest high-speed intelligent motion feeder and FT120 flow wrapper.
The IMF Intelligent Motion Feeder, with an integrated layer collator, features Bradman Lake’s latest product handling technology, using Rockwell Automation’s small frame iTRAK intelligent track system.
The IMF incorporates servo-driven linear guided carriers that accept a randomly spaced stream of products, which are positioned and transferred into the infeed of the flow wrapper (or other packaging machines), negating the need for traditional feeders. This provides easy access for the end user, the option of constant or indexing motion on the same machine, and greater flexibility in handling a range of products and collations.
IMF Intelligent Motion Feeder and FT120 flow wrapper
The FT120 flow wrapper offers efficiency and seal integrity, even for challenging heat-seal applications. Simple conversion parts or modular replacements enable the flow wrapper to run recyclable, biodegradable, paper, and single substrate mono materials.
The flow wrapper features a soft jaw that prevents misplaced products from jamming in the end seal jaws, reel-to-reel splicing, automatic web tracking, and discharge top control. Versions capable of wrapping speeds up to 1,200 packs per min are available.
