At PACK EXPO Las Vegas, Morrison Container Handling Solutions (morrison-chs.com) demonstrated its remote support capabilities. Glasses equipped with augmented reality technology enable livestreaming of a facility, so Morrison technicians can conduct remote Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), and diagnose and offer guidance for issues that may arise in the setup, operation and maintenance of the company’s container handling systems. The glasses also provide PDF viewing, language translation, photo capture and sharing, and video viewing, and can be programmed to guide changeover operations.
