Buried in a copy of our September 1995 issue of Packaging World, this 24-year-old advertisement for the first ever PACK EXPO Las Vegas, then called PACK EXPO WEST, bills the show as the largest display of packaging machinery you’ll see in ’95.

That’s still true of PACK EXPO Las Vegas here in 2019 . This ad wasn’t at all bad for the time, but a flip through the pages of our 2019 edition will demonstrate a lot of progress in terms of resolution and composition in print advertising.
