Tekkra Systems was founded in 2004 to fill a void in the wrapping machinery marketplace by combining shrink wrap and end user packaging engineering experience. Focused on efficiency design and innovation, Tekkra looked for a partner that could deliver automation and control solutions equally as innovative. They chose to partner with Schneider Electric Packaging (formerly ELAU Packaging).
Together, Tekkra and Schneider Electric created the Tekkra T-245-60 multi-packer machine which uses five Schneider Electric Packaging intelligent servo modules. The result is an extremely effective product solution designed for a maximum speed of 300 bottles per minute. A total of nine recipes generate the multiple pack patterns required by the end user. The intelligent servo modules have allowed Tekkra to significantly shrink the overall size of the controls cabinet and reduce total system cables.
