SouthPack is now co-located with four other shows April 24-26 in Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Center. Sponsored by Canon Communications (www.cancom.com), the combined event is billed as the South’s largest manufacturing tradeshow. It will bring some 800 exhibitors together in one event.

Co-locating with SouthPack will be the following shows:

Powder & Bulk Solids Southeast

Advanced Manufacturing Exposition (AM Expo)

Automation Technology Expo (ATX)

Design & Manufacturing South

This strategy of co-locating synergistic shows is not without precedent. Canon has used it successfully before, most notably in California and New York.

“Our co-location strategy was implemented to offer decision-makers the widest range of solutions for their manufacturing enterprise,” says Kevin O’Keefe, vice president of Canon’s events division. “This one event, all-solutions approach has resulted in double-digit attendance gains every year at our major events.”

Show hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. April 24 and 25, and 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on April 26.
