Creating a visual voice

When exuberant motivational speaker Zig Ziglar introduced Zinera, a new line of upscale nutrition supplements, he wanted packaging that echoed the energy, integrity and inspiration that is Zig Ziglar.

He got all that in a package designed by Shimokochi/Reeves (Los Angeles CA). The white HDPE bottle is covered in a four-color, flexo-printed label, complete with colorful graphics and product information. Anne Reeves, vice president and director of marketing for Shimokochi/Reeves, says the package was designed to give a sense of “inner and outer energy.” With a rich yellow radiating from the center of the bottle, coupled with a bold green and blue box with product information, the packaging for Zinera communicates health, wellness and purity, Reeves says. Initially, Zinera will available through mail-order channels.
