Among other standards, the newsletter contains proposed packaging standards, as well as calls for comments. The newsletters are available at http://web.ansi.org/standardsaction, which lists recent newsletters that contain proposed standards that are still within the 60-day comment period. Back issues are available on-line, but to ANSI members only. The newsletters are in Portable Document Format (PDF), a universal, cross-platform format. Free software that can read PDF files can be downloaded from the site. Though ANSI doesn't provide the ability to comment via its Web site, e-mail addresses for contacts are listed within the newsletter, according to the organization.
ANSI standards on-line
